Awards
We are excited to announce our new NBCC Awards honoring outstanding individuals who are shaping the future of counseling!
These awards were created for counselors, by counselors to recognize individuals who exemplify professional excellence in counseling and whose contributions have significantly helped to expand access to mental health services, strengthen the profession, and promote equity in health and education, advancing counseling and counselors domestically and globally.
As an NCC, if you know of a counselor who fits that description, we encourage you to nominate them for one of these prestigious designations. We also encourage self-nominations. This is a unique opportunity to spotlight remarkable professionals, share their stories, celebrate their achievements, and help them gain greater visibility among their counseling peers nationwide.
Winners will receive an honorarium and will be featured in the NBCC Visions newsletter. Awardees will also be invited to an awards ceremony at the NBCC Foundation Symposium in March 2025.
Please join us in acknowledging these exceptional individuals who are inspiring others through their work and helping to advance the counseling profession. Submit your nomination by clicking on the link beside each award title. NCCs are welcome to nominate more than one individual.
The deadline to submit nominations for all 2025 awards has been extended to November 8, 2024.
