Foundation Connections

CCE Academy is a user-friendly platform created by the Center for Credentialing & Education (CCE) in 2021. The purpose is to provide counselors and other professionals with the opportunity to complete continuing education courses at their convenience. These courses include NBCC Foundation webinars and The Professional Counselor (TPC) articles.

NBCC Foundation webinars are sorted into one of our webinar series: Innovations in Counseling or Building Professional Excellence. The webinars are part of the Foundation’s commitment to expanding the counseling workforce and professional development. Webinars cover a wide range of topics and are presented by experts in those areas. Our goal is to provide educational opportunities to help you grow as a counselor. Most webinars are available on CCE Academy within 30 days of the live webinar date so that you can watch them at your convenience.

Articles from TPC can also be used for continuing education. TPC is a peer-reviewed journal of research and scholarship in an electronic, open-access format to inform counselors and members of related helping professions.

Access to the webinar recordings and TPC articles is free, and you can purchase the continuing education assessment at a nominal fee to earn continuing education hours.
